For Micro chipping my tortoises i use Rachel Wilkinson from Calder vets in Tingley, Tel 01132 202850. Rachel has Chipped all my cities tortoises and i have never had any problems, the normal price for micro chipping is £19,99 but certain months of the year they have special offers so check them out

Hi tortoise lovers alike its great news for all the tortoises and other exotics that need micro chipping as Defra has now passed a mini microchip, wich can be used on hatchling tortoises from 6cms, the new chip is 40% smaller than the standard chip and any chip readers can read the chips.
